Project Management Offices PMO related consulting services include Set-Up, Assessment, Evolution, Staffing and Resource Management. To successfully design and implement a Project Management Office first requires an understanding of an organization's structure, culture, it's existing capabilities and the nature of the projects it seeks to manage. Next, the ideal end state is defined, including the PMO's objectives, deliverables, structure and supporting processes. Finally, the change management bridge is defined which provides the roadmap for an organization to reach that end state goal. Critical to the success of establishing a PMO is to focus on a few key goals, and to manage to them in a way that reflects both commitment to those goals as well as a periodic refinement based on experience and the ongoing evolution of the overall enterprise.
