Course Content & Design Course Content Actual course content is based on real world best practices that have been derived from the very finest sources including AIS’ clients and partners such as Bank of America, HP and Microsoft; the best of academic and industry literature; industry expert practitioners; project management related organizations including PMI and Prince2; and emerging project management methodologies such as eXtreme Project Management, Adaptive Project Management, and Agile Project Management. Finally, balanced focus and attention are given to both the art and science, or hard and soft skills, of project management. In addition, each course can be tailored to contain your company’s specific project management artifacts, procedures and processes. Course Design Courses are developed using sound, instructional design principles. To this base is added the best in accelerated adult education practice. As a result, all courses are highly interactive, with a focus on “learning by doing”. Finally, all courses include Electronic Performance Support System (EPSS) based concepts to address the problem of bridging training and actual work by showing students how to complete the tasks at hand at the point of need.
